Our Story

Maluti Animal Care, previously known as Animals in Great Need, started during the 2020 lockdown when local animal lovers noticed the suffering and hunger of animals in the local rural areas and were compelled to create change.

 

This NPC in Harrismith, South Africa, strives to better the lives of the animals in the area by distributing cat and dog food, taking animals for sterilisation, providing dog shelters and more. Funds for these items come from generous people making donations all across South Africa and the world, and is executed by a group of volunteers who work tirelessly with the animals and their owners.
